Top Kansas City Chiefs players to draft in fantasy football

As fantasy football managers prepare for their drafts, the Kansas City Chiefs offer several intriguing options despite a roster that has seen some turnover. While Patrick Mahomes remains the centerpiece, recent changes in the receiving corps and backfield create both value and risk. Here are four Chiefs players worth targeting at their current ADP.

Patrick Mahomes is the obvious headliner, but he may not be the top quarterback off the board this year. With Tyreek Hill gone and defenses keying on Travis Kelce, Mahomes' ceiling might dip slightly. Still, his floor is elite, and he can be had in the late second or early third round in many leagues. That is a steal for a player who consistently finishes as a top-three QB.

Travis Kelce remains the gold standard at tight end. Even at 34, he is the clear safety valve in this offense. The gap between Kelce and the next tier of tight ends is massive. If you can snag him in the middle of the first round, do it. He provides a weekly advantage that few other positions can match.

Running back Isiah Pacheco is a name gaining steam. He emerged as the lead back last season and brings a physical, downhill style. The Chiefs have not added a major threat to his workload, so expect 15 to 18 touches per game. He is a solid RB2 with upside, especially in standard scoring formats.

Wide receiver Rashee Rice is the wild card. As a rookie, he showed flashes but also had consistency issues. With Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Skyy Moore still in the mix, Rice could emerge as the top wideout if he builds on his late-season chemistry with Mahomes. He is a high-risk, high-reward pick in the middle rounds.

Avoid overpaying for Kadarius Toney or Jerick McKinnon, as their roles are too unpredictable. Instead, focus on these four names to build a balanced roster around Kansas City's high-powered offense.
