What is the latest on Carson Beck’s back injury status?

GLENDALE - Carson Beck remains listed as the third quarterback on the depth chart, but his recent back injury has stirred concern among Cardinals fans eager to see him get a real opportunity. The question now is how serious the issue actually is.

Beck, who has been working to establish himself within Arizona's quarterback room, was added to the injury report with a back issue that has limited his participation in recent practices. Team officials have described the situation as day to day, though the lack of a clear timeline has left observers guessing about his availability for the coming weeks.

For a player fighting for reps behind two quarterbacks ahead of him, any missed time is costly. Practice snaps are the main currency for a third stringer, and a back injury can linger in ways that affect throwing mechanics and mobility. The Cardinals have not indicated whether Beck will be available for the next matchup, and the team has been cautious about putting a firm return date on the table.

Fans who have been calling for Beck to get a look under center will have to wait a little longer. The focus for now is on his recovery and whether he can get back on the field without further setbacks. The team is expected to provide another update later in the week.
