Monday's FCIAC girls volleyball matchup between Greenwich and Trumbull brought both teams to the court for a competitive evening of play. The two programs met in a conference contest that drew attention from supporters of both schools, with the gym filled by fans following the action from the opening serve.

Greenwich entered the match looking to establish rhythm on its home floor, while Trumbull aimed to challenge that effort with steady defense and aggressive play at the net. The matchup fit into the broader FCIAC schedule, where every conference result carries weight as teams position themselves for the postseason.

Photos from the evening captured the energy on both sides of the net. Players rotated through serves, scrambled for digs, and set up attacks while coaches adjusted strategy between points. The images also showed the atmosphere around the court, from teammates celebrating points to spectators tracking the back and forth of each set.

Matches like this one give both programs a chance to measure progress against conference competition. Greenwich and Trumbull will each continue their schedules in the coming days as the FCIAC season moves forward.
